[PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION] Five foot six, one hundred four pounds, strawberry blonde hair. Catherine likes to wear stylish outfits, but it's always a top and slacks, most of which are nicely form fitting. She tends to favor dark slacks, which, in her line of work, is wise.
[HISTORY] When Catherine was sixteen she left her ranch in Montana to be with her wannabe-rock-star boyfriend in Seattle. She tried to make a living there as a waitress. He left her for an older woman and she left Seattle to go back home to Montana to be with her family. Only when she got there her family had been forced to sell the ranch and had moved into town and told Catherine she was on her own.
She then moved into Las Vegas, Nevada where she worked as a waitress until she discovered exotic dancing. She loved it, the men loved her, and the money was not scarce. She spent all of it on cocaine, school, and her boyfriend, Eddie's aspiring music producing career. Shortly thereafter they were married. But then Eddie cheated on her, so she left him. Eddie left her a small child Lindsey and ten dollars in her bank account. Catherine knew she had to pull it together for her, and Lindsey's sake.
One day Catherine met Gilbert Grissom, the head CSI at the Las Vegas crime lab. Grissom recruited her to work in the lab and she started out as an assistant technician and over a decade she became a CSI level three.
[PERSONALITY] Catherine is a very strong individual. She's dedicated to her job, loyal to her friends, and not a person that you would want to cross. As a mother she has sometimes let her emotions influence her feelings of a cse. However, she does not let those feelings affect the outcome of her work. Though, she has made assumptions about cases when she's begun work, but if evidence has proved her assumptions wrong, she will readily follow the evidence to the proper out come Her headstrong attitued can sometimes make her impatient. And she had no regrets when she had to shoot and kill a serial killer to protect Grissom's life. "Never doubt, and never look back. That's how I live my life." she said.
[HABITS/HOBBIES] Catherine once had a cocaine habit but she dropped that habit so she could make a living. Used to smoke and now she uses niccorette. Uses fake sugar in her coffee.
